The Port Melbourne Football Club have finalised their VFL team for 2024 with the late signing of former St Kilda player Dan McKenzie.
Dan, who has played 73 AFL games, was drafted with pick 22 in the 2014 National Draft by the Saints. He remined with the club until the end of 2022. Most recently he has been training with Fremantle but will now return to Melbourne to join the Borough in its 150th year.
“I can’t wait to start training with Skrob and the boys, the program and squad they have put together is exciting and we are all focused on playing finals footy this year” said McKenzie of his signing.
“Not only does Dan bring the footy skills but he is also known for his commitment and hard work and is extremely strong on team culture, all of which is only going to be an asset for the club” said VFL Coach Adam Skrobalak.
