We are dedicated to providing support for our community by providing you with the tools, social support, privacy and strategies to adopt and maintain healthy behaviours.  In 2021, Port Melbourne Football Club launched our new Borough Wellness program for our football and operational staff and our VFLW/VFL playing and coaching group.

Phase one is a Player Support Program (PSP) – a club organised and funded program for players and members. The purpose of a PSP is to offer a free service (funded by PMFC) to help you deal with personal, work-related or other problems that might be impacting your performance, productivity, general health and/or well-being or if you are struggling to manage symptoms of stress or other psychological problems.

We have an agreement with Drake Wellness Hub giving you access to short-term counselling services with one of their psychologists at no cost to you. Your identity will remain strictly confidential and you do not need to consult the club prior to booking an appointment.

You can make use of the program via:

When you make contact all you need to do is let them know you are part of the Borough Wellness program and that you are within the footy dept group (this is an identifier and doesn’t provide us with any personal details).
