May 2020

Two of the Borough’s proud Community Partners, the Lord Somers Camp and Powerhouse & the Alannah and Madeleine Foundation have recently launched initiatives that will be aiming to reduce some of the negative impacts surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

The Lord Somers Camp and Powerhouse are setting a challenge across multiple charities (within proximity of Power House) to collectively Rock around the World – which is essentially a step challenge where people can contribute through diversity of movement such as Step (walk or run), Rock (dance or wriggle) or Roll (wheelchair, scooter or skateboard).

For more details, visit the dedicated Facebook event page HERE.

The Alannah and Madeleine Foundation have also ramped up their efforts to combat online bullying, which sadly has risen over the last few months of the coronavirus crisis.

Instructions are included below for AMF’s website hub should any members be willing and able to make a donation; however small.
