Queensland youngster joins Port Melbourne

Former Gold Coast Suns AFL listed player, Aiden Fyfe has joined Port Melbourne for the 2023 season.

The 20-year-old, 190cm defender/winger has been recruited from the Southport Sharks where he played 11 matches in the VFL during the 2022 season, including the 2022 VFL Grand Final against Casey Demons. Fyfe previously was a part of the Gold Coast Suns Academy and was elevated to the Suns AFL list prior to the 2022 draft (delisted at the end of season 2021).

“We are very excited to have Aiden sign with us after tracking him since he finished at the Gold Coast Suns. His ball use out of defence and ability to play on the wing will give us some flexibility and at only 20 years of age he still has so much upside ahead,” says PMFC Football Manager, Glenn Balmforth.
