Port Melbourne are delighted to confirm another significant recruiting coup ahead of season 2019 with the addition of midfielder Ben Giobbi.
22-year-old Giobbi arrives at North Port directly from Perth Demons in the WAFL, having spent his season last year on the west coast.
Prior to that, Giobbi was listed with VFL rivals Casey Demons, but upon relocating back to his home state of Victoria, has now landed at the Borough and is keen to make his mark at a standalone club.
Giobbi has previously played his best footy as an inside midfielder – and averaged 15 disposals per game at WAFL Senior level in 2018 – however he has also shown potential as an addition to forward lines with his tackling pressure and goal sense.
We welcome Ben to the Borough, and wish him all the best!
