The Port Melbourne Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of Trent Crosbie for the 2019 season.
Trent is the Borough’s fifth official addition to the playing list, and joins us from Essendon’s VFL team.
21-year-old Crosbie is a strong-bodied prospect, who was able to obtain a taste of senior VFL footy in season 2018 as he played 7 games with the Bombers.
His most impressive outing was arguably on debut, as he collected 24 possessions and 7 marks against Collingwood in Round 3.
Originally from Gisborne, Crosbie can play a number of roles but Borough fans can predominantly expect to see him roaming across the half-back line.
Trent is a ready-made footballer who will be striving to take his game to the next level with the potential for greater opportunity within the standalone VFL club environment.
We welcome him to the Borough, and wish him all the very best!
