With the membership base growing year on year, it was vital for the Port Melbourne Football Club to implement a robust infrastructure that allows for a deeper understanding of member patterns and behaviours.
Sophie Williams, General Manager of Port Melbourne Football Club, stated, “Membership grew by 98% from 2023 to 2024 and we are anticipating a similar if not bigger growth as we move in to 2025. It was important that we had the right infrastructure in place to better serve our members and ensure we can give them the best experience.”
Gavin Taylor, Managing Director of Ticketmaster Australia, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: “It is fantastic to see a stand-alone football club investing in their members in this way. When the opportunity presented itself, we were very keen to get involved and help Port deliver the best experience they can for their members as well as provide essential data and insights for the club which ultimately helps them to see commercial returns.”
The announcement comes as the 2025 memberships go on sale. The package options include season passes and supporter packs as well as a premium offering that includes all events throughout the year.
With recent recruitment efforts led by VFL Head Coach Brendan McCartney, the Borough anticipates high demand for membership in 2025 and hope that the offerings both on and off the field will bring new fans to the club.
Memberships are now available at www.portmelbournefc.com.au.
