Commitment to fund our ever-growing community

On Sunday during the VFLW Grand Final Function, the City of Port Phillip Mayor Heather Cunsolo announced they are committed to funding the purchase of the Australia Post Site next to North Port Oval for a new sport oval and increase open space. Gateway Councillors Peter Martin, Marcus Pearl, Lake ward Councillors Andrew Bond and Christina Sirakoff were all in attendance.

This will be huge for the ever-growing community, and it will mean VFL/VFLW and AFLW can be played on North Port Oval throughout the year and cricket will be able to occupy the new site with upgraded cricket facilities.
