VFL Media Release – Round 12 VFL Fixture
The AFL has today released the dates and times for Round 12 of the VFL Premiership Season.
The AFL continues to work closely with respective State Governments, all VFL Clubs and other key stakeholders to best manage the relevant border restrictions currently in place, ensuring the health and safety of the community remains paramount.

The Gold Coast SUNS, GWS GIANTS, Sydney Swans and Brisbane Lions have extended squads in Victoria as part of their travelling party for AFL games. Additional players required to be made up of 19-year-olds from the NAB League.
Aspley, Port Melbourne, Werribee, Williamstown, Southport and Brisbane all had fixtured byes in Round 12.
The AFL confirms Aspley Football Club players, coaches and staff that travelled to Melbourne for their Round 11 match against the Box Hill Hawks have all tested negative and remain in isolation for 14-days as per current Victorian Government advice after their flight from Brisbane to Melbourne on Friday, June 25 was declared a Tier 1 exposure site. The team will come out of isolation on Friday July 9 with their Round 13 match to be rescheduled.
The AFL also welcomes crowds to the VFL in Victoria this weekend with strict capacity limits enforced. Maximum venue capacity 300 people per indoor space and 1,000 people outdoors (density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm).

The fixture for the VFL will continue to be a week-by-week proposition for the short-term with a fixture for the remainder of the VFL season to be released shortly. The AFL is committed to working through the rounds plus finals to complete the season.
While COVID-19 continues to impact the community, the health and welfare of our players and the community remains the priority and all matches will operate in a safe manner anchored in the advice of respective governments, public health officials and medical experts.
