VFL Media Release – Round 17 Fixture

The AFL has confirmed the fixture for Round 17 of the 2021 VFL Premiership Season.

The fixture will continue to be a week-by-week proposition and the AFL will continue to work with the Victorian and Queensland Governments and Health Officials on scheduling the remaining three rounds.

The AFL remains committed to completing the 2021 VFL Premiership Season with all clubs playing 12 home-and-away games. The 2021 VFL Finals Series will commence on Saturday August 28 with the top eight finals structure with the VFL Grand Final to be held on Sunday September 19 at Marvel Stadium.

Match-ups for remaining games will likely be changed to ensure games are played.

Broadcast information for matches this weekend will be released shortly.

The AFL would like to acknowledge the support of all industry stakeholders and the legion of fans and supporters for their unwavering support of the VFL.

Further information relating to crowds and ticketing for Round 17 will be communicated as soon as those details are finalised.
