The Borough head into Round 14 fresh off the bye. A heartbreaking 6-point loss to Box Hill Hawks in Round 12 saw the side hungrier than ever to train well and ensure they are a force to be reckoned with during the back half of the season.
The final match of the VFLW season saw the women play a twilight match under ETU Stadium’s new lights during the second half and Friday night, the men will play a full match under them. The start of night footy at Port Melbourne has begun.
Oscar Manton will line up for his first VFL match and play alongside his older brother Archi Manton. Mack Rivett and Angus Hanrahan will also return to the side for the first time in 2022.
Port Melbourne has not faced Werribee since 2019 where they were defeated 15.10 (100) to 10.13 (73) at Avalon Airport Oval.
