After a disappointing final term against the Pies in round 17, going down by 33-points the Borough is looking to bounce back against Sandringham Zebras. The sides will play for ‘The Sgt. Tony Scully Trophy’ which Port Melbourne currently holds.
Kyle Reid has been elevated back onto the list and will play for the first time since tearing his ACL in July last year against North Melbourne at Arden Street. Anthony Anastasio will play his 50th VFL match for Port Melbourne against Sandringham this weekend. Starting his VFL career at Williamstown in 2012, Anastasio made the switch to Port Melbourne in 2017 where he became a premiership player and has kicked 51 goals for the club.
Archi Manton and Fletcher Roberts are out of this week’s side due to injury, alongside Marcus Kane who has been omitted. The side welcomes back Campbell Walker, Tom Hofert and mentioned above, Kyle Reid.
