Minister Foley visits ETU Stadium lighting project
Port Melbourne Football Club are currently upgrading the lighting at ETU Stadium to facilitate the hosting of VFLW, VFL games and to promote increased community use. The new lighting has been designed to support various levels of match practice and competition and meets the required lighting levels for AFL broadcasts.
This week, Minister Martin Foley, State Member for Albert Park visited the stadium on behalf of Ros Spence, Minister for Community Sport and checked out the progress of the works. These upgrades were made possible through a $2M State Government grant from the Local Sports Grants initiative which will also go towards upgrading the change rooms under the Norman Goss Grandstand to female friendly standards.
Minister Foley was joined by Port Melbourne FC President, Michael Shulman, CEO Paul Malcolm, VFLW Co-Captain Claire Dyett and Head of Partnerships and past VFLW player Holly Bailey.
