Trio of young guns locked in!

By Borough Media on December 13, 2022

The Port Melbourne Football Club has continued to recruit strongly by locking in three young guns.

Tilly Mottram – 19yrs old, 175cm Forward

Tilly has spent her last 4 season with the Sandringham Dragons in the NAB league where she played a total of 14 games. As a developing forward there is plenty of versatility for Tilly, she has already been working hard throughout the trials and into the preseason.

Keely Byrne – 19yrs old, 165cm Mid/Fwd

Last season Keely played for West Perth in the WAFLW, where she avgeraged 15 touches and 4 tackles across her 10 games. A hard running midfield and small forward, we know she will bring energy and run to the side.

Maggie McKellar – 19yrs, 175cm Back/Fwd

Maggie plays her local football for South Croydon in the EFNL, where she topped the goal kicking during the 2022 final series with 5 goals. Maggie can play as a forward or a back and has been a great addition to the team from the start of the preseason. Young and eager to learn, we hope the Port Melbourne environment will bring out the best in Maggie.
